Loving care for your cat—Salt Lake City cat sitting

​​I started Cat et cetera in 2004, after more than a decade of cat-sitting informally by word of mouth. My business has grown steadily since then, while remaining small enough to allow me to maintain individual relationships with my clients.

I am a cats-only pet sitter. I understand cats intimately—their preferences and needs, their moods, and their health issues. I know that cats are not all the same, and that they need more than an in-and-out visit to fill bowls and scoop boxes. I get to know each cat I care for as an individual—his or her personality traits, funny little quirks and habits, likes and dislikes. And I usually know quickly when something is wrong. I am dedicated to keeping my clients’ cats safe, healthy, and happy.

Cat et cetera is a Limited Liability Corporation (LLC). I am licensed, bonded, and insured, and a member of the Professional United Pet Sitters Pet Sitting and Dog Walking Association. 

Each visit includes maintaining fresh food and water, giving treats if desired and medicine if needed, scooping and maintaining litter boxes, and, most important of all, spending one on one time with each kitty.

Possibilities include playing, cuddling, grooming, or hanging out in a zen-like fashion. I monitor your kitty's condition and behavior to alert you and seek veterinary care right away in the event of trouble and send you occasional notes and pics as time and feline inclination permit. Some photos, with your permission, might end up on my fabulous Cat et cetera Facebook page and Instagram! 

I also collect mail, newspapers, and packages; put out and collect waste containers as needed; maintain bird-feeders and baths; and keep an eye on the place in general, letting you know immediately of any appliance or system malfunctions, signs of unwanted visitors, etc.
